The RFAHP is a strategic group aiming to represent the views of AHPs on a number of external groups. RFAHP members currently liaise with the following groups:                                                             

HTA Programme                                               
Research for Patient Benefit                                      
SDO Programme                                                        
National Research Ethics Service                 
Allied Health Professions Research Network                       
Research Information Network        

                       

The RFAHP also has good links with the Department of Health (DoH) and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

Visitors are frequently welcomed from other organisations to the RFAHP quarterly meetings where updates and advice pertinent to AHPs and research are discussed. Government and other consultations are also responded to through both individual professional bodies and the RFAHP as a whole.
